Jessica P. Hill is a visionary, leader, and advocate. She was born on October 13, 1996, and raised in Charles City, Virginia to Michael and Patrice Hill. While in her sophomore year of college, she began a summer job in her hometown where she was a Youth Counselor at the Charles City County Parks & Recreation Summer Camp. It was here that the vision of Creating A Better Me emerged & was ultimately created. While working with the young women ages 12-14, she noticed the need in the county for an organization such as this that would inspire, educate, and uplift young women to reach their wildest dreams. Jessica is visionary on the rise who lives by her motto, "If everyone does a little, NO one has to do a lot!"
Her drive, work ethic, and passion for what she loves is the driving force that keeps her going throughout the toughest times. She is a PROUD graduate of Old Dominion University where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services May of 2018. She is also graduate of Morgan State University, School of Social Work. Jessica is currently a Qualified Mental Health Professional & Licensed Master Social Worker.
Sadarhi Cowan is a native of South Boston, VA and is the PROUD Vice President of this organization. She enjoys being a part of the organization because it feels good to make a difference in someone’s life. Creating A Better Me has been that platform that she can use to network, market, grow, and glow while shaping, molding, and changing the lives of the youth. CABM is allowing her to accomplish goals, face fears, all while finding herself and her purpose. Not only does she get to change lives, her life is changing in the process as well for the better.

Monica Woodley is a proud native of Charles City, VA and honorably serves as the Business Consultant of the organization. She has been mentoring youth for 10+ years. She successfully founded/operated a nonprofit for marginalized youth, currently works for the Federal Government, serves in the United States Army National Guard and owns a small business entitled Conscious Kingdom. She accredits her hard work ethic and dedication for her community to her upbringing and parents. She is honored to serve as a board member for CABM! Her mission is to instill pride in culture and knowledge of heritage to empower the youth to reach their full potential. Daija Johnson is a native of Charles City, Virginia and currently serve as the Engagement Outreach Coordinator for this organization. She is a 2018 graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University where she majored in Marketing. She specializes in creative branding, strategy, and market research. Mia Washington is a native of Richmond, Va and is the secretary of this organization. She loves teaching young minds, being a role model, and giving back to the community that gave to her. Being a part of this organization has allowed her to not only give back but has allotted her the opportunity to uplift, teach, model, and support young women! She is a 2018 graduate of Old Dominion University and is currently a graduate student at the institution.

LaDonna Jefferson is a proud native of Charles City, Virginia and is the Community Outreach/Fundraising & Development Coordinator of this organization. She possesses a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in Sociology from Norfolk State University. In addition, LaDonna is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Widener University. Her work as a Therapeutic Day Treatment Counselor in the Richmond City School district has resulted in invaluable insight on the success of creating and implementing an effective behavior management system and creating a positive learning environment for children. Being apart of this organizatio allows her to offer professionalism, passion, and commitment to helping others, and allows her to provide leadership and empower youth to make positive choices and achieve their life goal
Patrice Hill is a native of Charles City, Virginia and is the Administrative Assistant of this organization. With this position, she is allotted the opportunity to spread the word to various churches, organizations, and people of the community. A quote she lives by:
